"If I just had one more card, this deck would be complete..."
If you're a Pokémon TCG fan, you've probably had that frustrating thought at least once.
But wait a moment.
Printing cards is actually quite a gray area, or rather, a rather black area.
The tool introduced here is an extension that supports printing on the official Pokémon deck building page, but...
Having the question "Is this really okay?" before using it is a very healthy reaction.
It's called "forbidden," but what's actually allowed?
| Item | Content |
|---|---|
| What's allowed | Personal use within the permitted scope on the official website |
| What's not allowed | Using printed cards in official tournaments, selling, distributing, etc. |
Let's be honest.
If you use printed cards in official tournaments, you're immediately disqualified.
The excuse "It's just for practice..." is also in the grayest of gray areas.
The copyright for Pokémon cards is held by The Pokémon Company and Nintendo.
In other words, printing and using them without permission is not something that can be excused as "just borrowing for a bit".
